It is located in Seferihisar, which holds the title of Turkey's first quiet town. Sığacık is a fishing town, a charming little place. From a historical point of view, the Ancient City of Teos, 1 km from the center of Sığacık, was the capital of Northern Ion 3000 years ago and the administrative center of the Asian Branch of Dionysus Artists until 2300 years ago. The section known as 'Kaleiçi' located in the center of Sığacık is a historic place where life has continued uninterrupted for 550 years.
